UMC Machine Tools have the resources to offer complete turnkey projects. Some examples are listed below.

• MGM Precision purchased a used Palletech FMS with 3 FH 5800 Horizontal Machining Centres, 22 Linear Pallet Robot and 2 Work Load Stations. The machine, occupying a floor area of 18 metres x 5.5 metres was uplifted from Berlin, Germany and delivered, installed and commissioned into their Newcastle Upon Tyne works within a five week time frame - Project cost £500,000.
• CTL of Stockport bought an Integrex Model e-650H high spec machine with bar stocker, 800 mm chuck, 3000 mm centres and an " e tower ". The machine was distmantled, delivered, installed and commissioned into their works in a 2 week time frame - Project cost £338,000.
• Smiths Aerospace of Hamble bought a Vortex 815/120 - 5 axis Vertical Machining Centre with Fusion 640M control. the machine was shipped from the West Coast in the USA and delivered, installed and commissioned into their works. Time frame 10 weeks - Project cost £295,000
• A near new (only 700 hours) high specification Mazak model E650HS - 10 1/2" hollow spindle , double chucking with 24" diameter chucks, 3 metres between centres, OIL COUNTRY LATHE was sourced in Houston, Texas from an end user and sold to SMIAS, an engineering company in Norway involved in the North Sea exploration business.
